To all members of Peace Lutheran…at the council meeting tonight, the Church Council, with some of the elders present for extra guidance, came to the decision to keep the Sunday Divine Services at this time. If you do not wish to come to the Divine Service, please know that we understand, and nobody should be judging anyone for a decision to come or not come. These are trying times for everyone, and we are not to judge.
Following the next two Sunday services, an Executive Session will meet to further discuss future course of action leading into April.
All other activities at Peace Lutheran are suspended until the end of March, including Wed Lenten Midweek Services and meals. A letter will be drafted and sent to all members in the next couple days.
In the meantime, if you are sick, please stay home. If your immune system is compromised, please stay home. If you need to be self-quarantined because of travel, or contact with anyone testing positive for Corona virus, please stay home.
Further information will be forthcoming as soon as we can get that out. (No Lenten Midweek Service or meal tomorrow night!) Please be looking for the congregational letter by week’s end. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
